Federal Teaching Hospital, Lokoja offers exceptional learning experiences for all health professions, from student opportunities to specialized residencies and fellowships to continuing professional development
We have produced one fellow in Surgery, 6 in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, 1 in Family Medicine and 1 in paediatrics.
A fellow in Surgery had the best result in Part 1 W/A fellowship exam and is currently reaining in the UK.
While a resident, Dr Isaniyi had the best result in W/A part II fellowship exam.
The hospital benefits from partnerships with Medical Training Institutes in the UK and 3 of our residents have benefitted from the said partnership.
Dr Mrs Yeye-Agba Represented the hospital in a competition organized for resident doctors all over the country and came first.
